Executive Mosaic is glad to unveil Mike Corkery, president and CEO of Deltek, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.
Corkery manages a team of nearly 2,000 employees who provide enterprise software as well as information and consulting services to customers worldwide.
The company’s GovWin IQ software tool is used by many GovCon firms to identify potential opportunities with government agencies and the company announced in 2014 it would add new information on the state and local architecture, engineering and construction market to complement GovWin’s federal market intelligence features.
Deltek has completed a set of acquisitions during his tenure, such as the purchases of Axium and Sohnar in an effort to build up Deltek’s portfolio in the enterprise resource planning and professional services automation sectors.
Corkery has served acting CEO and chief financial officer at Deltek since he joined the firm in 2010 and has also held the same roles at ICO Global Communications.
The Northern Virginia Technology Council selected Corkery for the “CFO of the Year” award in 2013.
Executive Mosaic congratulates Michael Corkery and the Deltek team for their selection to receive this award.
This year represents our fifth annual Wash100 award selection. The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector leaders selected by Executive Mosaic's organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential leaders in the GovCon sector. These leaders demonstrate skills in leadership, innovation, achievement, and vision.
