Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Stephanie Hill, vice president and general manager of Lockheed Martin‘s information systems and global solutions-civil business, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.
She manages a staff of 10,000 employees who work with civilian government agencies and commercial companies in the fields of finance, transportation, healthcare and cybersecurity.
The 28-year company veteran was selected to receive the Black Engineer of the Year awards in 1993, 2006 and 2014 for her contributions to the advocacy of STEM education.
Hill spoke to spoke to ExecutiveBiz shortly after she accepted the most recent award and offered her vision of how industry must inspire future generations of potential engineers.
“We must capture the imaginations of the future scientists, engineers and innovators who will change the world – especially those who are not yet interested in and/or doubt that a STEM career is possible for them,” she said.
