Dan Johnson, General Dynamics’ Info Systems-Tech Group EVP, Selected to Wash100 for IT Industry Leadership

Dan-JohnsonExecutive Mosaic is honored to introduce Dan Johnson, executive vice president of General Dynamics‘ information systems and technology group, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.

Johnson’s appointment to lead the group took effect in January and he will continue in his other role as president of the company’s information technology business unit, a role he has held since April 2008.

In conjunction with Johnson’s group EVP appointment, General Dynamics realigned the group’s structure through a combination of the company’s C4 systems and advanced information systems business units into a new mission systems unit now led by Chris Marzilli, another Wash100 inductee.

The 28,000-employee IT business unit provides systems engineering, systems integration, IT and professional services to customers in the intelligence, defense, homeland security and commercial markets.

He served as chief operating officer at Anteon before its 2006 acquisition by General Dynamics, led BearingPoint‘s government business and also is a former head of KPMG‘s consulting practice for the Defense Department.

Executive Mosaic congratulates to Dan Johnson and the General Dynamics team for their selection to receive this award.
