Executive Mosaic is honored to announce Ralph Shrader, chairman and chief executive at Booz Allen Hamilton, as the latest inductee into the Wash100, the premier group of leaders who drive innovation and growth at the intersection of the public and private sectors.
Shrader has worked at the McLean, Va.- based Booz Allen Hamilton since 1974.
His previous leadership positions at the firm include head of the worldwide technology business and responsibility for the technology division where he focused on telecommunications, information technology and C4ISR.
“We’ve built strong client relationships, created a culture to attract and retain the most talented staff, managed the business well to deliver value to our shareholders and supported the communities in which we live and work,” he said when the company’s leaders rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
“As we look ahead to our next century, we will continue to evolve and grow to help our clients meet their demanding and ever-changing missions,” Shrader added.
Earlier in his career he served as chairman of the board of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and AFCEA International.
He was named Executive of the Year in the $300 million and greater category at the 2010 Greater Washington Government Awards.
Executive Mosaic extends its congratulations to Ralph Shrader and the rest of the Booz Allen Hamilton organization.
This year represents our fifth annual Wash100 award selection. The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector leaders selected by Executive Mosaic's organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential leaders in the GovCon sector. These leaders demonstrate skills in leadership, innovation, achievement, and vision.
