Barry Barlow, Perspecta SVP amp; Chief of Staff, Receives His First Wash100 Award From Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson

Jim Garrettson, founder and CEO of Executive Mosaic, presented Barry Barlow, senior vice president and chief of staff of Perspecta, with his first Wash100 Award on Monday. 

Executive Mosaic recognizes Barlow with the most prestigious award in all of government contracting (GovCon) for his role in the strategic growth of Perspecta and his contributing to securing valuable contract awards. Barlow is also responsible for the company's long-term technology strategy, vision and he advocates for that vision for customers. 

Over the course of the year, Barlow led the company to multi-million dollar contracts to support government agencies modernize IT and defense systems. His efforts included a position on a potential seven-year, $740 million contract with the U.S. Navy’s Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) program to provide cyberspace science, research, engineering and technology integration services. 

“When you combine decades of experience on Navy programs and systems with a deep rooted heritage of advanced engineering capabilities and add an unmatched portfolio of innovative cyber solutions, you get Perspecta,” said Perspecta.

Perspecta also secured a potential five-year, $824 million contract to provide lifecycle systems engineering and integration support for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) as well as another potential $656.9 million contract modification to continue to offer information technology support services to the U.S. Navy under the service’s Next Generation Enterprise Network program in Sept. 2019

In addition to his first Wash100 Award, Jim Garrettson presented Barlow with the Chairman’s Award in May 2019 for completing his second year as chairman of the CTO Group for Executive Mosaic’s 4×24 program
