BAE Intelligence & Security President Al Whitmore Presented Fourth Consecutive Wash100 Award From Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson

Al Whitmore, president of the Intelligence & Security (I&S) sector of BAE Systems, was presented his 2021 Wash100 Award by Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson during a recent 4×24 membership dinner.

This marks the fourth consecutive time that Whitmore has received the most prestigious award in government contracting (GovCon). Executive Mosaic has recognized Al Whitmore for his efforts and significant contributions to secure exponential growth through essential contract awards for BAE that also drive IT network and services modernization within the federal sector and U.S. military service branches.

“Al Whitmore has scored his fourth consecutive Wash100 for continuing his long service with BAE to the intelligence communities and DoD, said Garrettson. “Al’s personal commitment and involvement in the continued growth of BAE has earned him great recognition in the Wash100 Award program. Whitmore’s long-term dedication mirrors his recognition not just these last four years as a Wash100 Award recipient, but his decades-long career in the federal sector.”

Whitmore is responsible for the I&S business that operates with approximately 6,300 employees and is focused on delivering large-scale systems engineering, sustainment and integration services to the intelligence community, Department of Defense (DOD), federal civilian agencies and warfighters deployed worldwide across land, air, maritime, cyber and space domains.

Executive Mosaic congratulates BAE Systems and Al Whitmore for receiving a Wash100 Award for the fourth consecutive time in the award’s highly prestigious eight-year history. Whitmore has achieved a level of success and consistency in the federal sector that can only be recognized by the Wash100 Award and winning for four straight years only demonstrates that level of excellence even further.

Executive Mosaic is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2022 Wash100 Award selection through Dec. 31st, 2021. Visit Wash100.com to submit your nominations and learn more about the highly prestigious history of the Wash100 Award and the most recent class of winners from 2021.
