ECS Federal President John Heneghan Presented With 2023 Wash100 Award

John Heneghan, president of ECS Federal, was recently presented with his 2023 Wash100 Award during a meeting with Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson.

In the award’s 10th anniversary, Heneghan was honored for the second year in a row in recognition of his success in driving company growth through new acquisitions and notable contract wins.

Each Wash100 class represents the most esteemed tier of leaders in the vast government contracting field. The highly-selective award not only considers each contender’s past achievements, but also looks ahead in anticipation of their future contributions.

Since Heneghan joined the ranks of the 2023 Wash100 elite, ECS has already won a $19 million contract to upgrade and add instances to ServiceNow, the Defense Manpower Data Center’s digital workflow management platform, to advance the center’s information technology modernization efforts.

ECS was also recently recognized during the Elastic Excellence Awards for business transformation within the security category. The award reflects the former’s use of the latter’s security technology to minimize alert volume with customized tuning.
