GDIT’s Amy Gilliland Receives 2023 Wash100 Award From Executive Mosaic’s Jim Garrettson

Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson delivered the 2023 Wash100 Award to Amy Gilliland, president of General Dynamics Information Technology, during his recent visit to the latter's company offices.

This is the sixth consecutive year that Gilliland was awarded the Wash100, which annually recognizes the top 100 key public and private sector individuals with demonstrated leadership, innovation, vision and means to shape the government contracting landscape in the coming years.

Gilliland's 2023 selection is for her continued leadership in information technology modernization. She drove major government contract awards for GDIT that resulted in its record-high earnings. Read more about the executive's marked accomplishments here.

Since being included in the Wash100 class in January, Gilliland has led another massive contract win for the General Dynamics subsidiary. GDIT secured a potential 12-year, $1.79 billion contract from the U.S. Army for flight simulation training support services. The executive also highlighted the company's mental health awareness campaign in Virginia 500 spotlight.
