Less Than 24 Hours Remain in 2024 Wash100 Popular Vote

They say government contracting isn’t a popularity contest, but for three months every year, Executive Mosaic makes it one — for fun! The premier GovCon events and media company’s esteemed Wash100 Award is much more than just a collection of personal favorites, as it annually celebrates beacons of leadership, vision and innovation from across the industry, with a particular emphasis on those who are most poised to influence the market’s direction and focus areas.

But after the 100 Wash100 awardees are announced in January, Executive Mosaic is curious who are the most cherished by our audience. Thus, the popular vote was born, and this evening, the 2024 edition comes to a close.

If you haven’t cast your votes, and/or have a colleague or friend who also hasn’t yet participated, there is still time! We don’t judge your last minute submissions; in fact, we welcome them. Vote now!

The race has been extremely tight these last couple of weeks, and the final days have been particularly grueling. Judi Dotson of Booz Allen Hamilton and Karen Dahut of Google Public Sector are duking it out for the number one spot — as of this writing, Dotson is ahead by less than 150 votes. This is going to be a hard-fought battle right until the final moments.

Since the end of the work week last week, AT&T’s Jill Singer made some nice progress, climbing up from number four to number three, her previous high watermark on the top 30. Can she earn her way to number two or maybe even win the whole thing? Stranger things have happened.

Don’t let Dotson’s colleague, Steve Escaravage, who leads artificial intelligence activities at Booz Allen, out of your sight either, as the exec shot up from number eight to number five in a matter of days. Deputy Secretary of Defense Dr. Kathleen Hicks also potentially secured herself a place in the top 10 in the final count by reaching number 10 as of now, up two from number 12.

Remarkably, the top 14 have all amassed 1,000 or more votes each. As we’ve documented, 1,000 votes for even the winning candidate has never before occurred, making 2024 a banner year for this wonderful tradition.

Don’t stop fighting for your favorite GovCon industry member! Vote now!
