With one of the most impressive runs in Wash100 history, Dr. Stacey Dixon, deputy director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), has ascended from 12th place into first place practically overnight in the 2021 Wash100 Vote Standings, as of this writing.

Defense Secretary Gen. Lloyd Austin now sits in second place and whoever emerges as the winner after midnight will win by the skin of their teeth.

In addition, General Dynamics Chairwoman and CEO Phebe Novakovic, U.S. Air Force CIO Lauren Knausenberger and Shawn Purvis, corporate vice president and president of enterprise services at Northrop Grumman, are all still in the hunt for first place. Any of these first-class executives can take first place once the voting deadline has passed and all votes have been cast.
