The list of Wash100 Award winners represents the highest achieving GovCon executives and federal sector officials. It is a star-studded lineup of innovators who command influence in the market and also promise to make big gains in the year ahead.

Here are the first-time firms represented in the Wash100 for 2025 and their winning executives:

In just the past year, Ijoor has led Alpha Omega through sizable acquisitions of Macro Solutions and SeKON, grown its footprint with a critical spot on the OASIS+ Unrestricted contract and secured important work with agencies such as NOAA. Ijoor has boosted Alpha Omega’s annual revenue to more than $130 million. Alpha Omega has become a force in government IT and mission support.

Stafford is leading Aperio Global’s movement into cybersecurity, intelligence and IT solutions and helping government agencies succeed in an increasingly complex threat landscape. Stafford’s leadership has propelled Aperio Global’s growth and expanded the company’s footprint in national security. Aperio Global, under Stafford’s leadership, made several noteworthy executive moves in 2024, including the appointments of Elvert “El” Gardner as vice president of space operations, Wendy Chenault as VP of operations, Will Metts as chief strategy officer and Damian Watkins as chief research officer.

Gupta earned his first Wash100 Award spearheading efforts to foster digital modernization in the federal and defense markets. The company in September 2024 was awarded a contract by FEMA to provide digital transformation efforts to its CIO office. This impressive contract involved the development of AI and customer experience services to improve local governments’ hazard mitigation plans.

Lustbader launched Arlington Capital Partners into the Wash100 list by driving the firm’s expansion efforts through a variety of investments and acquisitions, including Tyto Athene’s recent expansions. In January 2024, Arlington closed its largest fund to date: Fund VI closed at $3.8 billion in total capital commitments, surpassing its $3.25 billion target and doubling the previous high of $1.7 billion set in 2019. Arlington also finalized the sale of J&J Worldwide services to the CBRE Group in February 2024 for $1.05 billion.

Flood has built DecisionPoint into a trusted federal partner. The company, in 2024, secured significant contracts that cemented its reputation as a reliable provider of innovative technology services. DecisionPoint in July 2024 received a $9.9 million contract from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service for information security system management services. This award underscores the company’s expertise in cybersecurity and cloud engineering.

Palmer earned her first Wash100 Award and helped HashiCorp Federal earn its first through her leadership in driving government digital transformation and security. Palmer is helping federal agencies innovate their infrastructure and operations, boost security and automate workflows by engaging in multicloud solutions and zero trust security architectures. HashiCorp Federal is advancing efforts to forge partnerships to expand its market reach and bring its offerings to public sector customers.

Integral Federal made a big move in November 2024 that propelled it into the prestigious Wash100 club. By acquiring IT services company Pragmatics, Integral Federal gained expertise in various fields including agile and DevSecOps in the cloud. Under Wilkinson’s leadership, Integral Federal also made strong personnel moves to better serve its customers. The company promoted Heather Gerczak, previously Integral Federal’s SVP of business operations, to chief administrative officer. This made Gerczak responsible for various company functions such as human resources, marketing and contracts, and administration.

Nokia Federal Solutions was launched in January 2024 to offer innovative and secure platforms designed to meet key requirements and missions of U.S. federal agencies. The division develops new platforms and works to meet the stringent requirements of federal customers by using 5G, IP routing, microwave and optical networking, among other services. Under Loomis’ guidance, Nokia Federal Solutions achieved the federal information processing standards, or FIPS, 140-3 Security Level 2 certification for its Layer 1 optical transport platforms, propelling Loomis to his first Wash100 Award.

  • JD Parkes; CEO, Co-Founder and Board Member; Parry Labs

Parry Labs became represented in the Wash100 for the first time through big moves in military aviation. Parkes also earned his first Wash100 Award by securing strategic partnerships with respected defense firms such as AeroVironment and General Atomics. As part of its partnership with AeroVironment, Parry Labs is delivering software and mission system hardware for the P550 uncrewed aircraft system that will be part of the U.S. Army’s Long Range Reconnaissance program. Parry Labs in March 2024 was awarded a $13 million subcontract to provide Intel Edge Compute Hyper and Edge Compute Autonomy systems to General Atomics for its use in upgrading the U.S. Air Force’s MQ-9A Reaper UAS.

Rafael Systems Global Sustainment, or RSGS, became represented in the Wash100 for the first time because of its technological innovation in defense. Anderson has expanded the company’s capabilities and landed high-profile contracts that lifted the company’s profile, earning him his first Wash100. RSGS in April 2024 teamed with Parsons to compete in an innovative project to defend U.S. Marine Corps bases from small UAS threats. He also drove RSGS’ involvement in the Counter-UAS Core Technology Demonstration, a key effort aimed at better securing military installations against drone threats.

LaMontagne’s leadership through massive growth earned him his first Wash100 Award and brought SMX into represented firms. He secured a $3.2 billion contract to support U.S. special operations forces in the Indo-Pacific region. SMX was also named a prime contractor on a Long-Range Enterprise Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Activity task order that could last seven years and be worth $3.2 billion. The company also acquired cBEYONData to grow public sector technology offerings.

Summit 7 Systems has become an industry leader in security, compliance and cloud services. Summit 7 Systems is helping customers meet requirements of DOD’s new cybersecurity regime by offering tools including a managed controlled unclassified information, or CUI, enclave and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, or CMMC, “All In” solution.

As a leading provider of strategic IT and managed services for government agencies, Zolon Tech recently secured a major U.S. Army medical IT support contract. It also operates important contract vehicles including CIO-SP3 and GSA MAS. Since founding the company in 1998, Mattapalli has expanded to a workforce with more than 500 professionals based in the U.S. and India and has grown Zolon Tech to more than $70 million in annual revenue.
