“I appreciate the honor of being named a Wash100 Award recipient by Executive Mosaic. It is truly humbling to be recognized among such an esteemed group of leaders driving innovation and impact in government contracting and national security,” said Ijoor. “This award is a testament to the incredible work of the Alpha Omega team, whose dedication, ingenuity, and commitment to excellence continue to propel our mission forward. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this industry and for the platform that Executive Mosaic provides to highlight leadership and progress.”
Highlighting the Alpha Omega chief executive’s win, Jim Garrettson, CEO of Executive Mosaic and founder of the Wash100 Award, said, “Gautam is making a powerful entrance into the Wash100 ranks, and it’s no surprise why. As the founder of Alpha Omega, he’s built the company from the ground up into a force in government IT and mission support.
“In just the past year, he’s led Alpha Omega through major acquisitions of Macro Solutions and SeKON, expanded its footprint with a key spot on the OASIS+ Unrestricted contract, and secured critical work with agencies like NOAA. Gautam’s leadership is about growth and delivering real impact, and his first Wash100 win is a testament to that,” Garrettson added.
M&A-Powered Alpha Omega Growth
Ijoor grew Alpha Omega to an anual revenue of more than $130 million through strategic acquisitions and organic growth. From 2014 to 2020, the technology company acquired Znergis, Trusted Mission Solutions and Confiance to expand its capabilities and market footprint.
Alpha Omega continues to grow its business through M&A activities. In January, the company acquired IT contracting firms Macro Solutions and SeKON to drive innovation and growth and broaden its offerings for military and federal agency customers.
Ijoor underscored Macro Solutions’ artificial intelligence-driven code modernization work, adding, “Combining expertise and digital transformation in Workday and Oracle Cloud for ERP and human capital management Alpha Omega will increase delivery of more impactful and robust solutions across Defense, Financial Regulatory, and broader government sectors.”
And commenting on the SeKON acquisition, Ijoor said, “Integrating SeKON’s Health domain expertise and capabilities represents a key market expansion for Alpha Omega. SeKON is a vital addition as we continue to make our IT solutions readily accessible by way of our growing portfolio of unrestricted contract vehicles, including CIOSP4 unrestricted and Alliant 3.”
Contract Wins for Alpha Omega
Under Ijoor’s leadership, Alpha Omega also secured several contracts with the government.
The company received a potential five-year, $43 million contract from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to support data stewardship within the National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service, or NESDIS, organization. This followed a $56 million contract NESDIS awarded in 2022 for IT services.
Alpha Omega was also awarded a contract in September 2024 to support the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Crop Insurance Program.
Most notably, the company has won a spot on the unrestricted category of the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus, or OASIS+, contract.
“The addition of OASIS+ to our portfolio reflects our commitment to partnering with federal agencies to deliver impactful, innovative solutions,” remarked Ijoor. “This award deepens our ability to support our customers in addressing complex challenges and achieving critical missions, while creating greater value through tailored services. It’s an exciting milestone for Alpha Omega.”
