With Hull’s leadership, Leidos secured major military contracts in the past year, including a $331 contract with the U.S. Army for network modernization support; a $738 million contract with the U.S. Air Force for enterprise IT and telecommunications services; and an $823 million task order from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide sustainment and operations support services for the Department of Defense Network, or DODNet, program.
“By delivering the standardized DoDNet, our goal is to enable more efficient service delivery and support across DAFAs to advance the mission of our nation’s warfighters and secure our combat operations around the world,” Hull said of the DISA task order.
Strategic Partnerships
In March 2024, Leidos signed a multiyear strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services to accelerate the delivery of innovation to customers in the public sector and commercial markets.
“Through this agreement, Leidos will align our investments in federal mission solutions with AWS’s portfolio of cloud computing and enterprise data management services to enhance innovation and efficiency for our customers,” Hull said.
In an Executive Spotlight interview, the digital modernization sector lead also mentioned Leidos’ partnerships with Sourcegraph and Moveworks to bring generative AI-enabled tech capabilities to customers.
“Strategic partnerships are a key part of our strategy. We believe our role is to be the orchestrator of innovation for our customers, serving as the bridge between commercial technology providers and our customers’ regulated environments. We bring together diverse skills, available technologies and innovative approaches while fostering collaboration to create a win-win for our customers, shareholders and partners,” the Leidos executive said during the interview.
Pushing the Boundaries in Digital Modernization
During the interview, Hull noted that threats facing customers change as technology evolves and that he sees an increased need for speed, agility and interoperability across national security, defense, civil and health sectors.
He stressed the need for more collaboration across agencies and commercial partners.
“Whether it’s developing new technologies or integrating solutions, we’re leveraging our practices, repeatable offerings and strategic partnerships to make a real impact across critical sectors,” Hull said.
“We’ll continue to push the boundaries in digital modernization. We’re not just meeting the needs of today; we’re laying the foundation for sustained growth and innovation well into the future,” he added.
